Delivery & Returns 


  • Standard delivery is £4.95 RM48 - Please check our current dispatch times on the home page

  • Express Delivery if available upon request

  • International delivery is not currently available.


Delivery Times

Everything at Elegantly Sweet is carefully handmade to order,  therefore standard dispatch times can vary due to busy periods.  Please check our current dispatch times on our home page for latest information. 

If your order is required for a specific date, please bear in mind our delivery times, and if needed sooner please contact us to discuss the availability.  When required dates are further in advance, your product will be sent ten days prior to date requested. 

Your order will be sent by Royal Mail, or Parcel Force. 

Missed Delivery

Should delivery to the address not be possible, a card should be left by Royal Mail to let you know how you can collect the parcel or how to arrange re-delivery. It then becomes the recipient's responsibility to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of non-delivery. 

Lost Parcels

If for any reason a parcel is not successfully delivered,  a claim will be raised with Royal Mail 10 working days after dispatch when the parcel is then deemed lost.  A full refund will then be offered once the claim is processed. 

Order Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from date of purchase, however any personalised items are exempt from this policy.  To do so, please send written confirmation to elegantlysweetuk@outlook.com with your order number as reference. 



Food items are unsuitable for refunds unless faulty.  Although we make every effort to pack your items for a secure delivery, if your product was brought as a gift and you feel is no longer unsuitable to gift due to being damaged during transit, please contact Elegantly Sweet within 72 hours of receipt, with a photograph of the damaged item along with a photo of the packaging.  The product must be returned to Elegantly Sweet prior to receiving your replacement.

Your Privacy 

As customers and fans of Elegantly Sweet, I may hold some information about you (your name, email address, postal address and telephone number).  This is a short note setting out everything you could ever wish to know about how I collect, use and store this information.  But if you still have any questions after reading this, please contact me

Important Note

When I talk about 'information', I am only referring to your contact details or images sent for bespoke orders.  I never have access to your financial information when you make payments via PayPal or Stripe.  All sensitive financial information is held securely by the processing companies, and they never share this with me or anyone else.

How I Collect Information

Wix manages our mailing list, and you will only ever end up on this list if you have signed up for our exclusive offers and previews. 

When you place an order, either directly through me or via the website, you give me sufficient information about you to enable me to process the order, this can also include images for customised designs.

The website provider we use, Wix, has cookies enabled for this site to make sure your computer (or other device) is recognised when you visit here again, sadly they're not the edible type. 

For personalised items that require images, these are sent by yourself via email to our business access email address.

Who Has Access to Your Information

Quite simply, it's just me! As the sole designer and creator at Elegantly Sweet, I am the only one who ever has access to your information, and I never pass this on to anyone else. 

Wix hold your contact details on their server to allow me to manage my mailing list.

When you pay via PayPal or Stripe, they will also hold information about you. 

How I Use Your Information

I send out regular emails informing you of latest offers and products to those that have signed up to our mailing list to receive information about Elegantly Sweet. If you have previously been a customer of Elegantly Sweet, you can also expect to receive these using the contact information you provided. 

Personal images supplied are then used to create your bespoke creations, and once completed are immediately deleted from file. 

How I Store Information

Wix hosts details of all members of my mailing list on their secure servers.

I keep an electronic spreadsheet of all customers and those who have commissions waiting.  This is held on my work Apple Mac which is password protected.  I can also access these documents via my iPad which I carry with me at all times, it even sleeps under my pillow.. fact! 

All spreadsheets are solely for accounting and tax purposes and are held for a minimum of six years.

All emails are hosted by Outlook and are stored securely via password protection. 

Your Rights

You can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, and I will give you full details free of charge.  You also have the right to ask that your details be deleted, amended or transferred.
